ACE National Network
The peak body for agencies delivering open employment services to people with disabilities. Its mission is to represent organisations and individuals who share the common purpose of creating equal employment opportunities for people with a disability.

Anti-Discrimination Commission of the NT
An independent, impartial body that investigates and helps resolve complaints about discrimination and harassment. It also provides training and education about Anti-Discrimination and Diversity policies to businesses, government departments, schools and individuals.

Australian Association of the Deaf
The Australian Association of the Deaf (AAD) is the national peak body that represents, promotes and preserves the Australian Deaf community, its language and cultural heritage. It works towards a vision of a national Deaf community with equal rights and full access in Australian society.

Australian Clearinghouse on Education and Training (ADCET)
Provides up to date and comprehensive information about inclusive teaching, learning and assessment strategies, accommodations and support services for people with disabilities in post secondary education and training. Full access requires a subscription.

Australian Council of Social Services (ACOSS)
The national peak council of the community welfare sector in Australia — the principal voice of low income and disadvantaged people in social and economic policy matters.

Australian Council for Rehabilitation of Disabled (ACROD)
The National Industry Association for Disability Services. ACROD works to increase the capacity of its members to operate effectively and efficiently and to influence public policy so that it is responsive to the needs of people with disabilities.

Australian Disability Training Advisory Council
A standing committee of the Australian National Training Authority Board. It was established in October 2000 to oversee the implementation of ANTA's five year national strategy for increasing opportunities for people with a disability in VTE, Bridging Pathways (click here to download).

Australian Federation of Disability Organisations
The Federation has recently been established as the primary national voice to government that fully represents the interests of all people with disability across Australia.

Auseinet Project
The Australian Network for Promotion, Prevention and Early Intervention for Mental Health (Auseinet) is a national project funded by the Commonwealth Department of Health and Aged Care under the Mental Strategy and the National Suicide Prevention Strategy.

Blind Citizens Australia
Represents blind and vision impaired Australians. Its mission is to achieve equity and equality by empowerment, by promoting positive community attitudes, and by striving for high quality and accessible services which meet members' needs.

Based at the Gap Youth Centre in Alice Springs, dEadly mOb is all about creating online opportunities for Indigenous young people anywhere in Australia. It aims to help young people skill up to participate in community development using Information and Communications Technology.
It has embedded resources like the Career Mentoring Programme tools, that can be used to help young people get connected to career, employment and life opportunities wherever they are.

Disability Studies and Research Institute (DSaRI)
Undertakes research into and education about disability issues from a social perspective and promotes public debate associated with the social dimensions of disability. It aims for a wider understanding and debate about the social processes that disable people.

National Disability Advisory Council

National Disability Abuse and Neglect Hotline
An Australia-wide telephone hotline for reporting abuse and neglect of people with disabilities using government funded services.
Allegations are referred to the appropriate authority for investigation.
